Why I'm doing the jump.
I'm sure we all know someone who's battled with cancer, beaten it, or lost the battle, it's a merciless disease, that needs to be beaten. A few years ago I lost my Grandad to cancer. He never got to see his gandaughter take her first steps. In my first year at high school a teacher lost the battle to cancer, he was so young. I've heard horrendous stories of mummies having to leave their babies behind, or babies having to leave their mummies behind because of this horrendous disease. So, I thought in order to help raise money to stop cancer, I'm going to throw myself off a 160ft crane, I hate heights, absolutely despise them, but it's all for an amazing cause! I can't do it alone, I need your help by donating!

Professor Margaret Frame
One of the biggest challenges in successfully treating cancer is preventing it from spreading to other parts of the body. Professor Margaret Frame's research is revealing opportunities to stop cancer in its tracks, developing new treatments that could improve survival for patients.
