Trekking for Paul My Godson and Nephew
Paul is hopeful a cure can be found during the next 10 years, as that may be all he has. His son is 3 and he needs his dad and we need Paul. Paul is 30 and a wonderful person and during his treatment he placed pictures of himself on facebook to highlight his progress and what it is like living with a cancerous brain tumor. He is a very brave and selfless man. Paul has undoubted integrity to get through each day and I want to help raise money specifically to help find a cure for Paul and all the other people affected by this type of cancer. If anyone wants the callenge as Paul has every day, join me in a trek to the top of Scafell Pike the highest mountain in England and one of the 3 peaks, and raise money and awareness of Paul s plight to find a cure because that is what he needs, a cure.
CAUSE
Improving treatment for brain tumours
Each year in the UK, nearly 11,000 people are diagnosed with a brain or central nervous system tumour. Dr Colin Watts from Cambridge is leading studies to improve surgery for brain tumours, helping doctors remove as much of the tumour as possible, while minimising damage to healthy brain tissue.
