Help us fight Cancer at Everest
All of us have someone who has been affected by cancer over the years, this has particularly been the case recently, when we lost my step Mum, and my Dad's wife Pat. This is me and my Dad's opportunity to try and raise some money to fight cancer by doing a two week trek up to Mount Everest Base Camp on the 6th November 2015. The money will go towards new treatments in fighting breast cancer, so anything that you can give would be very much appreciated. I will be two months off the booze and running in preparation for this, so as you can imagine i'm taking it seriously! My Dad is 64 years young but he loves the challenge, and is probably fitter than me! Thanks for your Donations, there will be plenty of pictures to follow
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
