Although over 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK.,an average of 260 will die (including non-malignant brain tumours). the most common childhood cancers are leukemia, lymphoma, and brain cancer. As kids enter the teen years, there is an increase in the incidence of osteosarcoma (bone cancer). This is an unforgiving disease, however, the suvival rate is around 70%.

We all think and hope this will not happen to our own child/children.
