On Friday February 26th, The Riverbank is teaming up with some local businesses, and asking you to "Think Pink" in aid of Cancer Research UK! Open from 7:30pm, the Riverbank will be joined by The Body Shop to bring you the latest in beauty and pampering! There is also a chance to win a makeover (proceeds going to Cancer Research UK) From 9pm, we add a little spice to the night with our Ann Summers party! Combine this with some fantastic drink promotions, a lot of laughs, (and something a little bit sexy!) in aid to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK! Throughout the night, stylists from Truro's newest hottest salon, Glow, are on hand to ensure your hair is styled to perfection! For a small donation they will curl or straighten your hair! This event is 18+ (I.D. may be required at the bar), and is open to both ladies and guys! Enjoy the promotions and everything else on offer whilst helping Cancer Research UK! If you are unable to attend, but still want to donate to this fantastic cause, this page is for you! All donations are gratefully accepted. theRiverbank xx

Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
