Let Loose in the Lakes for Tash's Bashes
A motley crew of 9 walkers & 4 dogs are taking part in the Patterdale Parish Boundary Walk on Saturday 5th July - a gruelling 30 miles, 10,000ft ascent, a challenge for even the fittest & we're definitely not the fittest - to raise money for Tash's Bashes, in aid of Cancer Research UK, with our money targetted at a research project into secondary breast cancer. The team is made up of Tash (our founder), Kent, Sara, John, Frazer, Karen, Caroline, Rachel, John & our 4-legged companions - Buddy, Molly, George & Dave. If you'd like to find our more about Tash's Bashes, please go to our website http://www.tashsbashes.co.uk/ or follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/tashsbashes We'd appreciate any support you can give us - I'm sure, like us, you want to fight to find a cure for this disease - and every penny helps towards our research project into beating breast cancer sooner. Thanks for supporting! The Patterdale Posse
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
