Half marathon & family run for Tash's Bashes
On Sunday October 2nd Rhian, Amanda and Lynne and two new recruits Carly and Susi are going to run the Cardiff half Marathon and Evan and Maisie and Ethan and Freya are going to enter the family run on the day before in attempt to raise what we can for Tash's Bashes.....So Please give what you can for this great charity. Tash's Bashes was founded by our amazing friend Natasha Fermor when she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer to fund specific research with CRUK. Tash was an extraordinary lady with a love for life and gin! who was so sadly taken from us at the beginning of this year, but the good work of Tash's Bashes must continue and we need to keep raising as much money as we can to fight this awful disease. Nine out of ten cancer deaths are caused by cancer cells spreading around the body in a process called metastasis. Dr Erik Sahai is leading pioneering research to understand metastasis and stop rogue cancer cells breaking free. This could provide new ways of preventing cancer spread, saving thousands of lives.
