Silverstone Classic 23-25 July - Bobby Moore

My Story

The aim is for each celebrity racing to raise £2000 in sponsorship from fans, friends, family & colleagues, this would more than cover the Bobby Moore Fund's support of two researchers working on this vital project, for this year; potentially helping to shape the treatment of bowel cancer, & save lives in the future. Please help us make the Silverstone Classic a lasting legacy for people facing bowel cancer. Thank you James

CAUSE

Bobby Moore Fund

Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
