Supporting non-melanoma skin cancer research!

My Story

My story began in 2008 when I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, a non-melanoma type of skin cancer. Following treatment with photo-dynamic light therapy I was advised that there may be a reoccurrence of the cancer in the future. So here I am! After going to the doctors 4 weeks ago, I was fast tracked by her to see a specialist . The outcome? I will now embark on a different treatment to treat the cancerous and pre-cancerous cells present. I will be participating in the Great Scottish Run 10k to help raise funds to aid further research in this field.
