Scott to run Marathon

My Story

Scott Lowson is to undertake a Half Marathon in Blackpool on the 24th April. The event is run on Blackpool's Promenade passing all the great landmarks and tourist spots. A half Marathon is run over 13+ miles and while Scott may often walk this far on a golf course looking for his ball he rarely jogs it on a course while being timed! Scott gives up much of his time for the Middlesex Masonic Sports Association and is currently Secretary of the Golf section and he sees this as a real opportunity to 'get his hands dirty'. He is taking this opportunity to raise money for Prostate Cancer and would kindly ask any of you who could to donate a small amount to the cause to support him to make it all worthwhile. He is hoping for an initial target of £500 and with your help we can achieve that. If you feel you can support Scott in this and further research and the treatment of those suffering with Prostate Cancer then please contact us. Please let myself or Scott know if you have any questions by emailing andrew.burge@middlesexcentury.co.uk, 0774 777 8500 or scott@scottlowson.com, 07595 710071 or at least send him a good luck text!

Pioneering new treatment for prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. World leading expert, Professor Hing Leung, is testing a range of chemicals to see whether they can bring prostate cancer cells back under control. He hopes this early-stage research will lead to better treatments for men in the future.
