DONNISON – Sarah Louise. 
Died peacefully in the LGI hospital on the 1st July 2012, aged 49 years, of Eccleshill, Bradford. The dearly loved wife of Steve, loving mum of Patrick and Becky, much loved daughter of Peter and Joyce and sister of Kathryn, very dear daughter-in-law of Jenny and Don and a part of many friends lives. A celebration of Sarah's life was held at Nab Wood Crematorium, Shipley on Tuesday 10th July 2012, at 12.40 p.m. It was Sarah's wish that friends wear something purple and avoid black clothing. Although she loved flowers, she also wanted to support the charity which researches potential cures for Lyposarcoma, the very rare cancer which took Sarah away from us. Sarah was excited about joining the P53 study and donated her tissue cells to further their research. It has taken the research team two years to find enough cases to reach their target of 10 people (Sarah is case #9, and the youngest person found). Sarah always thought of others before herself, and your donation to Sarcoma research is a wonderful tribute. Sarah may be gone, but we will celebrate the life we shared with her, enjoy our shared memories together, love her forever, and never forget what she brought to the lives of so many people. Sarcoma
Sarcomas are cancers that develop from any of the supporting tissues in the body, such as muscle or fat. That means they can develop and grow almost anywhere. Each year around 3,300 people are diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma in the UK – that’s around 9 cases diagnosed every day. Donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better, kinder treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
