As part of my Paris Matathon 2011 'jog' on April 10th, I have chosen to fundraise for Cancer Research UK, specifically immunotherapy at the University of Southampton
CAUSE
Immunotherapy research in Southampton
Immunotherapy aims to stimulate our body’s own defense system to fight cancer, targeting and destroying cancer cells. Professor Tim Elliott is making fundamental discoveries about how our immune system works that will aid the design of effective new treatments, improving survival for people with cancer.
