Offerton Morris Dancers 80's Revisited - Charity Dance

We are a Morris dancing troupe who danced back in the 1980's, we have reformed for a Charity dance in memory of a former troupe member and friend who sadly passed away, and for all the loved ones lost to this terrible disease. So for one night.. and one night only we are getting our shakers shaking, pumps and dresses on and dancing for Jo. (so much harder 30 years on lol) Where: Stockport County Football Ground When: Saturday 11th April 2015 Time: 7pm to Midnight Tickets: Adult £5 - Child £3 SOLD OUT! (all donations gratefully received) After the dance there will be a drag act & DJ, it should be a really good evening & raise money to help fight this awful disease, thank you all for your support. Massive thank you to Stockport County for giving us the venue for free so all of the money we raise will go to charity. Another big thank you to Joyce Ford who trains and manages the current Offerton Morris Dancing Troupe and who has kindly let us use her training facilities, provided dresses and lot's of support so we could do this. We are currently asking local businesses for donations for the evening, raffle prizes etc all donations gratefully received. Many thanks. xxx
