This is my second attempt at trying to upload this link to facebook- so please forgive me if you are seeing a second page with different information on it!. The project is about raising money for research into this form of cancer. I have undertaken two other long distance trips over the last two years- through France, and then through Italy. Both have been "challenge" trips-riding the length of each country. Hence my riding the obvious one-the Uk End to End. Its been pretty challenging too- riding for the first time solo, and unsupported. I'm determined to finish by 12th July , so there are only six more riding days left from Macclesfield to John-o Groats; I had a stop-over at home on the way! I've a stop planned in Edinburgh, I'm not trying to race the distance, but to establish a consistent pace and finish given targets for each section of the ride. In general its a 100 miles a day. I hope to have finished the ride with around 1000 miles under some pretty worn tyres!. If I can use this as a means for raising money for a good cause- then so much the better.
