Mooloolaba Triathlon for Lucy

My Story

So I'm doing the Mooloolaba Triathlon (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run) out here in Oz on the 15th March to support research into brain tumours. My cousin Lucy Crocombe died aged 29 in May 2011 from one so I'm doing this for her. As there will be blinking sharks in the water for the swim leg of the race (and my partners in crime have threatened to rub tuna into my race suit- thank you Vicki & Tess) please make sure you apply an appropriate danger supplement to all donations!

CAUSE

Brain cancer

Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
