Help raise funds for life saving treatments
You all know that our lovely Lyn lost her valiant battle with ovarian cancer over 4 years ago. Well, we have decided to organise a fun, informal event for family and friends to remember the happy times, the laughter and smiles, and to raise valuable funds for this super charity. We are planning to swim in Rutland Water, cycle around the reservoir and run (walk?) around the peninsular on Saturday 21 September 2013. Ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer in UK women, with more than 130 women every week told that they have the disease. It is often not diagnosed until it has spread, making it harder to treat. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to detect ovarian cancer earlier and find better treatments.
