Developing new ways to detect breast cancer
With around 150 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Dr Jacqui Shaw in Leicester is developing sophisticated new ways of detecting breast cancer cells hiding in the bloodstream. Her research will open doors to improve diagnosis and treatment for patients in the future.
