My parents sadly lost their battle with cancer and I have many friends whose lives have been affected by cancer. I already support cancer research UK with regular funding but wish to increase that support by running the Manchester Marathon (my first ever). Research is essential to try to beat cancer and help the many people and fanilies affected by the disease.
