My Silverstone challenge
On the 23rd July I am entering a motor race on the Grand Prix track at the home of British motor racing, Silverstone, to compete against other celebrities in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund. We will be racing round the track in Morgan sports cars at speeds of up to 130mph! As well as taking on the driving challenge I'm trying to raise as much money as possible for the Bobby Moore Fund and would really appreciate your support. I've had some trackside tips from David Coulthard and I'm raring to go! Any donation you can make will support this FOXFIRE trial, potentially helping to shape the treatment of bowel cancer and saving lives in the future. Thanks for your support. Love, Jo x
CAUSE
Bobby Moore Fund
Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
