Help us beat Brain Cancer for Jesper.
Jesper died of Glioblastoma Multiforme on 9th May, the most common and deadly form of brain cancer. This form of cancer kills over 11,000 people a year and unlike other forms of cancer, is currently incurable. Despite the mortality rate being so high, the research funding it receives is only 2% of all cancer funding. Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
