As you might or might not know I like to get my exercise whilst also entering a few events, (usually of the long distance type), along the way. Up until now I have not done any of these events for sponsorship, but as this is a ‘big one’, I thought I should do it for a good cause and not just for myself. So on Sunday 1st July I will be competing in the Outlaw Iron Distance Triathlon (3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42km run) in Nottingham, to have fun and to hopefully raise some money for the Prostate Cancer projects being run by Professor Simon Mackay at Cancer Research UK – see a short clip here about what the researchers are trying to do - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RnJ5zAf1fBo
