i hope that there will come a day when cancer is only a zodiac sign

My name is Alice and I am 15. I am going to tell you a brief story about the person i look up to, proud of and so lucky to have every second of every day, my mum.

My mum was 45 when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). Now two and a half years on she is in remission from breast cancer but is still fighting CML. 6 weeks ago she was diagnosed with Myeloid Dysplastic Syndrome (MDS) and has been told she needs a bone marrow transplant.

Knowing that my mum has cancer is hard, but knowing I could lose her from it is even harder. 

I am making this fundraising page in order to reach my target of £1000 for cancer research, in order for people to win their fights like my mum did with her Breast Cancer. Even though she is still fighting CML and MDS, I've told her to stay strongand keep smiling.
