Please help and stop this disease for good
For a number of years now my Dad has been battleing prostate cancer. Recently we have had the news that it isn't getting any better. We have been on a number of different treatments old and new and some have worked for a small period of time and others haven't. However, even though some haven't worked on my Dad they have worked on others. Which means they are saving other people's Dads, Uncles, Brothers, Sons and Grandads. But hopefully soon we can get a treatment that works on everyone. It might be too late for my Dad but we can never be sure. However, I would love to stop it happening to other people as I know how hard it is and how rubbish and evil it is. If we are this far along with finding a number of treatments then surely we aren't far off finding a cure. Maybe my aim of 500 pounds will help. I personally think cancer is the worst thing that has happened and I'm sick of it. This isn't just for my Dad. It's for my Mum, my Nanna and everyone else who has faced it. So please donate anything you can and lets even try to double my aim. I will be doing THE BANK OF SCOTLAND HALF MARATHON IN GLASGOW CITY CENTRE SUN 04 OCTBER 2015 and I will be collecting from now untill then. Thankyou to everyone who will donate or support me! https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Forthomasx OTHER PAGE OR TEXT ''TOMK58 £5'' TO 70070 TO DONATE

Pioneering new treatment for prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. World leading expert, Professor Hing Leung, is testing a range of chemicals to see whether they can bring prostate cancer cells back under control. He hopes this early-stage research will lead to better treatments for men in the future.
