Welcome to the fundraising page for Phil Purdy and Jeff Crooke's Everest Challenge.

Phil and Jeff will be travelling to Nepal in Spring 2012 to climb to the summit of Mount Everest (8850m). The climb is in aid of Cancer Research UK, specifically towards research into oesophageal and pancreatic cancer being carried out in Cambridge.

After the success of the Cho Oyu blog in 2009, we thought that the Everest Challenge deserved one too.

There is also an offical website and blog to keep updated on Phil and Jeff's progress. Once Phil & Jeff are in Nepal, there should be a running commentary on their efforts provided there are no problems with communication.
