The Everest Challenge 2012
Welcome to the fundraising page for the Everest Challenge 2012.
Phil Purdy successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest (8850m) on the morning of Friday 25 May 2012, overcoming extremely harsh conditions that pushed him to the limit both physically and mentally.
His climb was in aid of Cancer Research UK, specifically towards research into oesophageal and pancreatic cancer being carried out in Cambridge.
