Erikas first triathlon!!

I have decided to compete in my first ever triathlon in memory of my wonderful Dad who was diagnosed with Melanoma skin cancer. Sadly it spread to his lymph, liver and lungs and claimed his life within weeks.

He was an immensley fit 63 year old and competant triathlete and cyclist who had signed up for many triathlons this year.

I have spent many years following him and my husband in their triathlons but NEVER had the intention of competing in one myself.

However, since losing my Dad, it seems the most obvious thing for me to do, despite having no experience in any of the disciplines.

I know my Dad would be very proud, so I just want to do what I can to raise money to help people diagnosed with this potentially life claiming disease and help find a way of predicting the future.
