Chippington Family Skydive 2014

My Story

In 2004, in celebration of her 70th birthday, Doreen Chippington, my grandmother, performed a tandem skydive to raise funds for repairs to her local church in Awliscombe. On the 30th of August 2014, in celebration of a further 10 years, three generations of the Chippington family will be skydiving together - Doreen will be joined by Mick (her son and my uncle), and two of her grandsons, Toby (my brother) and myself. Doreen will be jumping again in support of Awliscombe church. If you would like to support this cause, you can find her sponsorship page here. Toby will be jumping in support of the Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team (www.bhct.org.uk), and would be grateful to recieve donations on his sponsorship page. Mick will be jumping for the National Autistic Society, and you can find his sponsorship page here. Thank you for any support you can give, Haddon Chippington Derrick.

CAUSE

Preventing cancer

Professor Tim Bishop is using the latest DNA technology to hunt out the genes involved in cancer. This could enable doctors to identify who is at greatest risk of developing this disease, driving personalised cancer prevention advice and more targeted treatments.
