Intentions behind this fundraising
For anyone who has lost someone to cancer. And to anyone who is fighting or dealing with it. You have mine and everyone who has donated/donating's sympathy. I've always wanted to help people in any way I could. I'm not smart enough to be a doctor, but if I was i'd go for it straight away! Helping people has always came second nature to me. And I've always wanted to give something back to society and to people who CAN make a difference. This is just one of many projects I will be doing. I want to do this on behalf of everyone around my generation to prove we are not all ignorant, and we do care. I will be shaving my hair, hopefully at the end of 2011! All depending on how fast we raise the target!! I feel that this is the least I can do to get people's attention and raise awareness of this cause. And If you don't mind me saying: Fuck cancer. x x x

Immunotherapy research in Southampton
Immunotherapy aims to stimulate our body’s own defense system to fight cancer, targeting and destroying cancer cells. Professor Tim Elliott is making fundamental discoveries about how our immune system works that will aid the design of effective new treatments, improving survival for people with cancer.
