What an excellent day!
It's been a very busy day, but we've been so lucky with the weather and support from the public! We had over 100 people turn up to help out and managed to get every bulb planted in under 4 hours!
We were even concerned we'd run out early at one point, when we had a queue of people waiting to sign in! Some people stayed all day, bringing their picnics and enjoying the spring sunshine.
The weather was fantastic - we didn't expect to be worrying about keeping the chocolate biscuits from melting when we planned the event. :)
Thanks to all who came along for your support - our total's over £1000 now, with the cash and cheque donations yet to be reflected on the website.
