In loving memory of Avril
Our dearest mum sadly passed away recently to oesophageal cancer, after a year of fighting the disease. Please help raise funds that will help with research into how to treat oesophageal cancer, which is an aggressive cancer, currently with only a 13% 5 year survival rate. We will always be grateful to St James Hospital - Leeds for the treatment she receieved in the effort to battle this agressive disease. Your donations will be grately received to help others, something our mum would have wanted.

Professor David Cunningham from the Royal Marsden Hospital in London is testing whether a new drug, bevacizumab, can be given with chemotherapy and surgery to improve survival for patients with this type of cancer.
