Raising money for Oesophageal Cancer
On Monday 2nd June we will be taking part in the Flora Womens Mini Marathon in Dublin. We have chosen to raise money for Oesophageal cancer, in memory of our dad who was diagnosed in July 2012, just 3 weeks before passing away. Oesophageal cancer is now the fourth highest cancer killer in the UK and causes around 4,000 deaths each year. A five-year survival rate of only 6% is achieved even with use of radiotherapy and surgery. Please sponsor us anything you can xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
CAUSE
Oesophageal cancer
Oesophageal cancer rates are rising in the UK, and it's one of the hardest cancers to treat. It’s the sixth most common cause of cancer death and survival rates are poor. Help fund one of Cancer Research UK's top priorities – finding ways to improve survival from the disease.
