Afternoon Tea Fundraiser
Just 13% of patients with oesophageal cancer survive for 5 years or more. A shocking fact that I didn't know until my dear mother was diagnosed with this illness. I would like to raise money to fund research that will improve survival rates so other families will not suffer the loss and pain of losing someone they love. To raise money for Cancer Research I will be holding an Afternoon Tea Party in September (the month I turn 50!!) I hope to see you on the day. Thank you for your donation!

David Cunningham (Oesophageal cancer)
Oesophageal cancer rates are rising in the UK, and it's one of the hardest cancers to treat. Professor David Cunningham from the Royal Marsden Hospital in London is testing whether a new drug, bevacizumab, can be given with chemotherapy and surgery to improve survival for patients with this type of cancer.
